Turoa ski field is at our doorstep, it is only a 30 to 40-minute drive to the famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing and Whakapapa ski field (hosting the fabulous Skywaka Gondola), a 5-minute walk from the Train Station and at the exact start, (or end) of the Old Coach Road biking trail. Ohakune village is well serviced with world class food outlets, restaurants and bars, grocery store, petrol outlet & E/V charging stations, pharmacy, gifts, and other retail opportunities.
